BENGALURU SEES NO RAIN IN THE MONTH OF APRIL, THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1983.

This is Bengaluru city wait for rainfall continue. Zero rainfall for the month of April 2024. 

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the city observatory has not recorded any rainfall in April 2024.

Told that "Before the monsoon season, we expect the EL nino condition to transition to neutral or zero, followed by the development of La nino conditions, which bodes well for the monsoon, we expect normal to above. Normal rainfall this monsoon" also said that Global Warming, urbanization, raising population, poor cloud formulation, contribute fact that lack of rain & intense of heat wave.

Sri. A Prasad also added that the temperature went up to 39.5 degree Celsius, Bengaluru 37.5 degree Celsius.

Yellow warning range at North inter Karnataka (Bagalkot, Vijyapura, Koppal, Kalburagi ) and hot immunize condition at Costal Karnataka.

Bengaluru situated height situated height more than 3000 feet of sea level. Summer has been harsh. Borewell getting dry no water supply.

Heatwave and several heatwave conditions were observed in northern, eastern & southern states.

Earlier month, IMD predicated three times more heatwave days between April and June due to receding EL nino conditions. Which are expected to become neutral by June. 

No rain is expected in city for the next 3 days.
